Light blue strawflowers – a distinctive colour among dried flowers
Light blue dried strawflowers (Helichrysum) are an eye-catching floral material distinguished by their vibrant blue colouring and characteristic flower heads with a delicate, papery texture. The carefully selected flowers are grown in Poland, while the drying and dyeing processes give them their distinctive decorative appearance.
The blue strawflower heads display a beautiful range of shades, from light, almost icy blue and subtle turquoise highlights to deeper, more saturated blue tones. The lighter tips of the papery bracts contrast beautifully with the darker flower centres, creating an interesting visual effect and highlighting their layered structure.
Thanks to their distinctive colouring, blue dried strawflowers are perfect as the main colour accent in floral arrangements. They can also be used as an original addition to dried flower bouquets, special occasion decorations and contemporary interior arrangements.
Selected strawflowers from Polish cultivation
Our light blue strawflowers come from Polish cultivation and are carefully selected for floristry. Their characteristic flower heads consist of numerous narrow, papery bracts that retain their decorative shape after drying.
The sturdy stems make the flowers easy to arrange in bouquets, wreaths and other floral designs. Individual flower heads may vary in size, degree of opening and colour intensity, giving each bunch a natural and unique appearance.
A bunch measuring approximately 40 cm in length and weighing around 70 g can be used as a complete standalone decoration or divided into individual stems for smaller floral projects.
Light blue strawflowers in floral arrangements
Dried Helichrysum flowers in shades of blue bring freshness, lightness and a distinctive colour accent to floral designs. They look beautiful in delicate pastel bouquets as well as modern arrangements featuring contrasting colours.
Light blue strawflowers combine beautifully with white baby's breath, natural bunny tails (Lagurus), dried Phalaris, statice, preserved eucalyptus and flowers in shades of white, cream and pale pink. Paired with navy blue, purple or vibrant yellow, they can be used to create more expressive and original decorations.
Their characteristic flower heads add interesting texture and volume to arrangements. Light blue strawflowers can become the main feature of a bouquet or serve as a decorative complement to larger flowers and dried grasses.

Dried strawflowers – long-lasting flowers for decoration
Dried strawflowers (Helichrysum) are valued in floristry for their distinctive flower heads, which retain their characteristic shape after drying. This makes them suitable for creating floral decorations with a long-lasting visual effect.
Unlike fresh flowers, they do not require watering or regular care. When stored under suitable conditions, they can retain their decorative qualities for many months.
Care and storage
- Store in a dry indoor environment, away from excessive humidity.
- Protect from direct sunlight, which may cause the colour to fade.
- Avoid high temperatures, heat sources and sudden temperature changes.
- Do not water or spray with water.
- Handle flower heads and stems carefully when creating arrangements.
- Avoid crushing or excessively bending the stems, as dried plants are fragile.
Additional information
Natural, dried and dyed product. Each bunch is unique and may vary in shape, volume, number of flower heads, degree of flower opening, colour intensity and colour distribution. Shades of blue may vary between individual flowers and product batches.
Due to the natural origin of the plant, minor imperfections, bent or broken stems, cracked or partially damaged flower heads and small missing elements may occur. These are characteristic features of dried floral materials.
Dyed plants may gradually lose colour intensity over time, particularly when exposed to light, moisture or unsuitable storage conditions. Colour transfer to other surfaces may occur upon contact with moisture. The stated dimensions and weight are approximate.
