All products offered in our store – mosses, dried flowers, grasses, leaves, and preserved plants – are pure natural products. Every piece is unique. Natural variations in color, size, growth form, density, and structure between individual items or harvest batches are intrinsic to organic materials. These natural characteristics represent the agreed product condition and do not constitute a lack of conformity or product defect under EU consumer law.

Premium Grade: Finnish Reindeer Moss (Top Recommendation)

• Features the largest tufts/heads and the densest, most luxurious visual appearance.
• Highest level of manual cleaning to remove forest debris.
• Highest coverage efficiency: approx. 6 kg / 1 m².
• Sustainably hand-harvested in the forests of Finland.
• Gently dyed using high-grade colorants across a wide palette.
• May contain minor natural forest inclusions (e.g., pine needles, tiny cones).

Recommended Applications: Large-scale green walls, moss art panels, as well as precise decorative elements (clocks, frames, 3D art).

Standard Grade: Alpine Moss (Good Quality)

• Medium head size (smaller than Finnish moss, larger than Norwegian moss).
• Reliably cleaned with a moderate amount of natural forest residue.
• Coverage efficiency: approx. 8 kg / 1 m².
• Features a longer lower thallus (stem base).

Recommended Applications: Broad wall coverage, budget-conscious commercial installations, and display designs.

Craft Grade: Norwegian Moss (Hobby Grade)

• Smallest heads with a compact, intertwined structure.
• Basic cleaning level (higher proportion of natural organic debris).
• Coverage efficiency similar to Alpine moss.

Recommended Applications: Small DIY projects, miniature modeling, and fill-in work where cost-efficiency is the main priority.

Botanical Note: Biologically, reindeer moss is a lichen (Cladonia rangiferina) rather than a true bryophyte moss. The name derives from its commercial designation, Reindeer Moss.

Cushion Moss (Pole Moss): Recognized by its raised, dome-like tufts that create an impactful 3D landscape effect. Sourced from various European regions (e.g., France or Sweden), variations in density and structure are natural. Ideal for feature walls and acoustic panels.

Flat Moss (Forest Moss): Serves primarily as a broad background layer or base filler. Available in various fiber lengths. Combines seamlessly with cushion moss and preserved foliage.

Other Varieties: (e.g., Sheet moss, Bog moss). Natural variation in texture and growth structure between harvest batches is expected.

No. Preserved reindeer moss and preserved plants are non-living, stabilized natural materials. They do not perform photosynthesis, do not grow, and require no light or water. They do not function as living plants and do not produce oxygen or biologically filter indoor air.

Preservation is an eco-friendly stabilization process where natural plant sap is replaced by a solution composed of plant-based glycerin, water, mineral salts, and food-grade dyes. This process allows plants to maintain their soft texture, flexibility, and natural appearance for years without maintenance.

Important Note: Preserved materials are not indestructible or perpetual. Depending on ambient conditions, they may gradually age over several years and exhibit characteristics similar to dried botanical specimens.

• Never water or mist preserved plants! Liquid contact dissolves the preservation solution.
• Recommended indoor relative humidity: 40% to 60%.
• If humidity drops below 40%, moss may become dry or brittle. Elasticity naturally restores when ambient humidity returns to normal levels.
• Prolonged high humidity (> 70%) combined with insufficient ventilation may promote mold growth.
• Installation in bathrooms is recommended only where **active, continuous mechanical ventilation (e.g., extractor fans)** is present.

The following guidelines apply to all dyed, dried, and preserved botanical products:

• Because plants absorb dyes organically, color saturation and subtle shading may vary between harvest batches.
• Water-soluble dyes are utilized. High humidity, moisture, or friction may cause temporary pigment transfer onto hands or surfaces.
• We recommend wearing protective gloves during installation and avoiding direct contact with light-colored, absorbent textiles or porous surfaces.

Color names are commercial descriptions and do not correspond to standardized industrial color systems (such as RAL or Pantone). Accelerated color fading or shifting may occur under the following conditions:

• Direct exposure to sunlight, UV radiation, or intense daylight (including through window glass).
• High ambient humidity, condensation, or direct contact with liquid water.
• Close proximity to heat sources (radiators, fireplaces, spotlights) or rapid thermal changes.
• Contact with chemicals: adhesives, solvents, alcohol, resins, varnishes, or cleaning agents.

Under extreme humidity fluctuations, tiny droplets of glycerin and dye may appear on the plant surface ("sweating").

Bleaching lightens or removes natural plant chlorophyll. The designation "bleached" describes the whitening process but does not guarantee a uniform pure-white finish. Shades naturally range from off-white and cream to ivory and light beige depending on the plant species.

Minor natural shading around stem junctions is normal. Because chemical lightening alters cellular walls, bleached plants are inherently more delicate and brittle than untreated dried flora.

A mild residual processing odor may be noticeable upon opening packaging. This dissipates rapidly in well-ventilated rooms.

Chemical reactions during further craft processing may affect natural materials:

• Hot melt glue can cause local heat damage or discoloration on delicate stems.
• Solvent-based adhesives, cyanoacrylates ("superglues"), or alcohol-based products may dissolve dyes.
• Casting resins and epoxies may react with the glycerin preservation fluid.

We strongly recommend performing a compatibility test on a small, hidden sample before full-scale application.

Natural dried flowers with heavy heads (e.g., Strawflowers, Gomphrena) possess naturally thin, brittle stems. Minor shedding of individual flower heads during transit or handling is normal for dried flora and does not constitute a product defect. Detached heads are fully usable for wreaths, resin crafts, or glued arrangements.

Exotic dried elements (pods, seed heads, palm leaves) exhibit natural surface irregularities, minor cracks, and tone variations that highlight their authentic organic origin.

Our products are engineered exclusively for indoor decorative use.

Outdoor installation exposes materials to weathering (rain, frost, wind, UV radiation), leading to rapid degradation, pigment leaching, and breakdown of the preservation matrix. Any outdoor placement is undertaken entirely at the user's risk as a temporary, short-term display.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, dried and preserved flora are sold and packaged by weight (grams/kilograms). Stem counts provided in product descriptions serve as approximate estimations, as individual plant density and weight naturally vary.

Stated plant lengths are approximate. To comply with standard European courier parcel dimensions (typically max. 60 cm), long stems may be professionally trimmed prior to dispatch.

We photograph our products to accurately portray species form and texture. However, actual product colors may differ slightly from your screen display due to:

• Variations in screen settings, color profiles, and brightness across devices (monitors, smartphones).
• Ambient lighting conditions during photography versus your indoor environment.
• Natural variations in dye absorption across different botanical harvest lots.

Unless explicitly labeled as a pre-arranged finished bouquet (such as items under our Evergive brand), products are supplied as **floristry raw materials and semi-finished supplies** for arrangement by the buyer.

To prevent breakage during transport, items are packed compactly. Upon arrival, stems should be gently unpacked, loosened, fluffed, and arranged. Placing items directly from transit packaging into a vase without styling will not yield the intended visual result.

Sudden changes in temperature or relative humidity may cause preserved plants to temporarily secrete tiny, viscous droplets (glycerin and dye mixture). This is a physical moisture-balancing response. Gently dab the droplets with a soft paper towel and maintain stable indoor room conditions.

Because mosses are harvested directly from forest floors, trace amounts of natural habitat elements (pine needles, small bark bits, cones, or mineral dust) may remain despite manual sorting. Complete mechanical removal without damaging delicate plant structures is not possible.

Preserved botanicals retain a distinctive aroma—combining natural forest scent with the subtle, sweet note of glycerin preservation. This scent is most noticeable when first opening the box and gradually diminishes in well-ventilated spaces over time.

This scent is a natural characteristic, not a product defect. Individuals with heightened odor sensitivity or respiratory allergies are advised to unpack materials in ventilated areas and wear gloves during handling.

Fire Precaution: Natural dried and preserved botanicals are combustible. Keep materials away from open flames, candles, active heat sources, and electrical appliances.

Specific moss products may possess flame-retardant certifications (e.g., DIN 4102-1 B1). Such ratings apply strictly to the specific documented product lines and cannot be inferred across the entire catalog.

Safety around Children & Pets: Keep products out of reach of small children. Small detached plant parts present a potential choking hazard.

Non-Edible / Food Safety: Products are strictly non-edible. For decorative use near food (e.g., cake decoration), items must be completely isolated from direct food contact using food-safe protective barriers (such as floral picks or barrier foils).

Store items in a cool, dry, shaded environment with stable ambient temperatures. For extended storage, use breathable cardboard boxes. Avoid sealed plastic bags without ventilation, as trapped moisture may degrade the material.

• Untreated natural plants: Organic waste / Composting (according to local municipal guidelines).
• Dyed, bleached, or preserved plants: Non-recyclable residual municipal waste.
• Packaging materials (Cardboard, paper, film): Paper and plastic recycling channels (in accordance with local waste separation laws).

Consumers within the European Union benefit from the statutory **Legal Guarantee of Conformity** (pursuant to EU Directive 2019/771). Remedies for non-conforming goods remain fully protected by law.

However, the statutory legal guarantee does not cover alterations, wear, or damage resulting from:

• Improper handling, incorrect care (e.g., watering), or exposure to unsuitable environments (high humidity, direct sunlight).
• Application of incompatible processing chemicals (aggressive glues, solvents, unapproved resins).
• Natural aging, oxidation, and normal pigment fading over extended periods.
• Inherent natural variation characteristics inherent to organic materials as detailed in these customer terms.

Should parcel damage occur during transit, please notify the carrier upon delivery and contact our customer service promptly with clear photographic evidence to assist in swift claim processing.

We recommend processing and installing delivered botanicals within **14 days** of receipt for optimal visual freshness.

EU consumers possess the statutory **Right of Withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period under Directive 2011/83/EU)**. In the event of a return under withdrawal rights, goods must be returned in original condition. Please note that consumers are liable for any diminished value of the goods (§/Art. 14(2) of Directive 2011/83/EU) resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods (e.g., where plants or mosses have already been cut, glued, altered, or installed into structures).
